ENGAGE: Faith Journey is for You…
- if you feel that God may be calling you into ministry
- if you are ready to dig deeper into what God’s call could mean for your life
- if you would like to spend time with others who are on the same journey
- if you want to build your leadership skills
- if you are interested in learning how your call fits into the rest of your life
Spend 5 days at Emory & Henry College with high school students (rising 10th-12th grade) who like you are thinking about a call to ministry. During this event you will have the opportunity to interact not only with like-minded peers, but Emory & Henry's chaplain, Mary K., and some younger clergy from the Holston Conference who will serve as mentors. You will have your own clergy mentor and small group.
IS THIS JUST FOR PEOPLE WANTING TO BE PASTORS?
Absolutely not! While there are students who attend who do plan on being pastors, many participants plan on doing missions, being youth pastors, serving as lay people, or they haven't decided yet.
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
We will be having a variety of worship services, leadership training, studying the Bible, doing service work, taking a class, and exploring our faith. There will also be plenty of time to hang out with your new friends.
